  • Our secure communication providers (e.g., Quo, OpenPhone, Wix, HoneyBook, or similar services used to deliver messages)

These providers act as service platforms only, not owners of your data.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Waypoint Advocates™ takes privacy seriously.

We protect your information using:

  • Encrypted communication tools

  • Password-protected systems

  • Limited internal access

  • Secure third-party platforms compliant with industry standards

We do not collect additional data without your permission.
We do not track or monitor your device.
We do not store sensitive educational records through SMS.

5. How to Opt Out

You can stop text messages at any time.

Text:

  • STOP to end all SMS communication

  • HELP for support

Once you opt out, you will no longer receive text notifications, but you can still receive communication via email or phone unless you request otherwise.

You may re-subscribe at any time using our website, booking forms, or by contacting us directly.

6. Supported Carriers

Messages may be delivered through major U.S. carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Accuracy of Information

You must provide accurate and updated information.
You are responsible for notifying us if your number changes.

Incorrect or outdated information may result in missed notifications.
Waypoint Advocates™ is not responsible for messages that fail to send due to carrier issues or incorrect numbers.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SMS services to:

  • Harass or threaten staff

  • Send fraudulent information

  • Share unlawful or harmful content

We reserve the right to discontinue SMS communication if misuse occurs.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update these SMS Terms & Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
Continuing to use SMS services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
